Challenge your artistic endurance in a fun-filled, 6-hour figure-drawing marathon – a Drawathon! This event will feature two outstanding models, one from 10:30am till 1:30pm and the other from 1:30pm till 4:30pm. Attendees will work independently with a mentor on hand to provide demonstrations and advice.
Students are free to come and go throughout the day. Bring your own drawing materials such as paper and charcoal or your medium of choice. We will provide drawing boards, easels, and academy benches. Snacks and beverages will be available, but we suggest you bring a light lunch to enjoy during model breaks.
We will be working from a well-lit live nude model that will do a series of short poses building up to longer poses. We will have short breaks in between poses.
All skill levels are welcome!
In the studio, please be respectful of your fellow artists and keep your phone on silent; you may not under any circumstances take photos of the model.
